Export and import of rice in January (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in January 2020 Russia has imported 18.7 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 1 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 18.7 thousand tons (in 2019 - 19.8 thousand MT; in 2018 - 19.8 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (46.38%) and THAILAND (19.89%).

In January 2020 Russia has exported 6.5 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 1 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 6.5 thousand tons (in 2019 - 20.4 thousand MT; in 2018 - 7.9 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were BELGIUM (21.71%) and AZERBAIJAN (19.48%).
