Belarus: Progress of field work, update: May 24, 2021

Zerno.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, that as of May 24, 2021 all spring crops sown at 2306.5 thousand hectares or 94.1% of the plan of 2450.1 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 2555.4 thousand hectares, 100.2%). Maize for silage sown at 743.5 thousand hectares or 86.3% of the plan of 861.8 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 901.4 thousand hectares, 103.8%). Buckwheat sown at 22.0 thousand hectares or 72.7% of the plan of 30.3 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 22.0 thousand hectares, 96.4%).
