Export and import of rice in January - May 2021 2021 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in May 2021 Russia has imported 16.4 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 5 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 74.5 thousand tons (in 2020 - 90.3 thousand MT; in 2019 - 90.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2021, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (73.62%) and KAZAKHSTAN (14.62%).

In May 2021 Russia has exported 6.2 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 5 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 74.5 thousand tons (in 2020 - 40.3 thousand MT; in 2019 - 98.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2021, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (54.96%) and BELGIUM (8.79%).
