According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in August 2017 Russia has exported 2.5 thousand tons of buckwheat. According to the results of 8 months of buckwheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 19.4 thousand tons (in 2016 - 11.4 thousand MT; in 2015 - 5.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2017, the main countries importers of buckwheat from Russia were UKRAINE (32.26%) and LITHUANIA (29.20%).
