Export and import of rice in January - July 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in July 2020 Russia has imported 19.5 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 7 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 132.6 thousand tons (in 2019 - 119.1 thousand MT; in 2018 - 135.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2020, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (49.95%) and KAZAKHSTAN (18.98%).

In July 2020 Russia has exported 6.2 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 7 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 48.0 thousand tons (in 2019 - 109.8 thousand MT; in 2018 - 69.4 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2020, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (21.30%) and BELGIUM (17.77%).
