Export and import of rice in January - July 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in July 2019 Russia has imported 16.9 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 7 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 119.1 thousand tons (in 2018 - 135.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 146.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2019, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (31.32%) and PAKISTAN (23.25%).

In July 2019 Russia has exported 2.4 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 7 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 108.4 thousand tons (in 2018 - 69.4 thousand MT; in 2017 - 100.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2019, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (41.92%) and KAZAKHSTAN (12.69%).
