Export and import of barley in January - September 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in September 2020 Russia has imported 6.4 thousand tons of barley (HS code 1003). According to the results of 9 months of barley import campaign, Russia has shipped in 22.8 thousand tons (in 2019 - 2.1 thousand MT; in 2018 - 12.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - September 2020, the main countries exporters of barley to Russia were UKRAINE (67.79%) and KAZAKHSTAN (27.95%).

In September 2020 Russia has exported 767.7 thousand tons of barley. According to the results of 9 months of barley export campaign, Russia has shipped out 3809.2 thousand tons (in 2019 - 2933.5 thousand MT; in 2018 - 3912.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - September 2020, the main countries importers of barley from Russia were SAUDI ARABIA (46.40%) and UNKNOWN COUNTRY (15.74%).
