Ukraine: Import and export for January-August 2021

According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-August 2021, conducted by Zerno.Ru:

import of wheat and meslin (HS code 1001) has made 15458 MT (6086.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 8720824 MT (83.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For August 2021 import of wheat and meslin has made 294 MT, export - 3612633 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Belarus (90.1%), Germany (4.4%), Romania (2.1%), Other countries (3.4%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Indonesia (18.5%), Egypt (16.5%), Turkey (7.7%), Other countries (57.3%).
Import of barley (HS code 1003) has made 39493 MT (10560.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 3178713 MT (92.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For August 2021 import of barley has made 607 MT, export - 1657710 MT.
Import of corn (HS code 1005) has made 14880 MT (77.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 14933830 MT (78.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For August 2021 import of corn has made 275 MT, export - 301502 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (51.7%), Hungary (19.3%), Austria (10.2%), Other countries (18.8%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: China (32.8%), Netherlands (10.6%), Egypt (10.1%), Other countries (46.5%).
