Export and import of wheat in January - August 2018 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in August 2018 Russia has imported 2.9 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 8 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 189.4 thousand tons (in 2017 - 175.4 thousand MT; in 2016 - 422.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2018, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (55.57%) and UKRAINE (44.12%).

In August 2018 Russia has exported 4678 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 8 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 27196.0 thousand tons (in 2017 - 16738.1 thousand MT; in 2016 - 13969.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2018, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were EGYPT (19.48%) and TURKEY (10.81%).
