Export and import of barley in January - March 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in March 2020 Russia has imported 2.6 thousand tons of barley (HS code 1003). According to the results of 3 months of barley import campaign, Russia has shipped in 6.3 thousand tons (in 2019 - 0.5 thousand MT; in 2018 - 3.1 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2020, the main countries exporters of barley to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (77.59%) and UKRAINE (17.30%).

In March 2020 Russia has exported 252.9 thousand tons of barley. According to the results of 3 months of barley export campaign, Russia has shipped out 959.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 844.2 thousand MT; in 2018 - 987.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2020, the main countries importers of barley from Russia were UNKNOWN COUNTRY (32.54%) and SAUDI ARABIA (26.45%).
