Export and import of barley in January - December 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in December 2019 Russia has imported 4.4 thousand tons of barley (HS code 1003). According to the results of 12 months of barley import campaign, Russia has shipped in 20.9 thousand tons (in 2018 - 16.0 thousand MT; in 2017 - 168.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2019, the main countries exporters of barley to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (95.25%) and DENMARK (1.91%).

In December 2019 Russia has exported 296.8 thousand tons of barley. According to the results of 12 months of barley export campaign, Russia has shipped out 3903.3 thousand tons (in 2018 - 5275.6 thousand MT; in 2017 - 4633.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2019, the main countries importers of barley from Russia were SAUDI ARABIA (32.17%) and IRAN (20.54%).
